BEIJING, July 31 (Xinhua) — Chinese President Xi Jinping, also general secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and chairman of the Central Military Commission, attended the completion and commissioning ceremony for the BeiDou Navigation Satellite System (BDS-3) on Friday.
Xi declared the official commissioning of the newly completed BDS-3 system at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing.
